Talc helps children, but it will also work well for adults with problems after depilation. Irritated skin is often made even more irritated by friction, for example from clothes. Talc can act as a delicate protective coating, reducing friction and protecting the skin from further damage. Additionally, it has cooling and soothing properties that can help relieve itching, redness and burning of the skin.

Interestingly, baking soda can also help in such a situation. Baking soda also has anti-inflammatory properties, which helps reduce skin inflammation. This may speed up the healing process and reduce the risk of infection. When baking soda is dissolved in water and used as a compress or rinse, it can provide relief from itching, burning and redness. The best way is to dissolve a tablespoon of baking soda in cool water and soak a cotton pad in the solution. Then we wipe the irritated places with it.

To reduce the risk of irritation after depilation, it is worth preparing the skin for it, e.g. by exfoliating or dry brushing, and taking care of its daily moisturization. However, the above methods should not be used for very sensitive skin. It is best to perform an allergy test on a small piece of skin beforehand.
