No more leopards, time for… crustaceans. A fanciful trend is conquering the fashion world. Hit or miss?

If you think you’ve done it all, this trend may surprise you. Top bloggers are saying goodbye to the controversial leopard print in favor of patterns with… crustaceans. Can crabs, crayfish and other creatures become fashionable forever? Let’s take a closer look at this.

Animal prints have been present in the fashion world for years. The motif of a zebra, panther or snake or crocodile skin comes back into trend again and again. Although in the past they were considered a bit kitschy, nowadays they are considered stylish and are constantly worn by top stars and bloggers.

This year, however, we have a new interpretation of animal prints. A trend inspired by… crustaceans has entered fashion. Let’s see if it can look stylish.

Lara Gessler in a lobster motif. Can it look stylish?

On her Instagram profile, Lara Gessler shares creative styles and trends from the great world of fashion with her audience. Recently, she presented herself in a quite expressive styling combining pink and red.

Her outfit was an interpretation of the growing “mob wife” trend, a style inspired by luxurious mafioso wives. Hence, Lara chose elegant clothing items, such as a suit, a pencil skirt and a fur coat.

However, it was one detail that caught my eye the most. It was a white T-shirt with a lobster print. This is quite an unusual choice that added a unique character to the styling. Interestingly, the crustacean motif also appeared in other bloggers’ works.

Crabs from head to toe. Are shellfish a new trend?

I noticed a similar theme with a well-known blogger in her fifties, Renia Jaz, who operates under the nickname @venswifestyle. In her styling from the end of January, this blogger chose a very original set. Renia She wore a blue sweater set decorated with a crab motif. She put a red coat over it and put on pumps of the same color on her feet.

Is it a coincidence that both bloggers featured a crustacean motif? I don’t think so. This is an original way to diversify your styling, which may also appear in mass fashion. What do you think about him?
