The Republika TV service starts at 4:55 p.m. to overtake “Teleexpress”. The first program could be watched on Thursday and was hosted by Rafał Patyra, who for years was mainly involved in sports at TVP, but during the presidency of Jacek Kurski, he started working in the afternoon news program of TVP1. “It’s time to unplug the microphones! After seven years of riding the ‘Teleexpress’, the train suddenly slowed down. Maybe it’s a good time to change? Is it time for a really high-speed train?” – on Instagram, after which it turned out that he was starting to work for a right-wing station.

In “Express Republika” you can find many similarities to “Teleexpress”. The February 1 edition was Patyra’s debut on the new station. He welcomed the audience with a few-sentence declaration:
At a time when some vaguely promise clean water, and others swallow water in their mouths due to the economic situation, “Express Republika” appears in the media. Many will try to sink it, we bravely go out into the deep and we invite everyone who loves our homeland on board.
And “Teleexpress” goes on
Patyra left TVP Sport in December, and in January it became clear that he would not return to “Teleexpress”. After a break of several weeks, the program returned to TV One with a new-old host: Maciej Orłoś. The presenter was the face of the news service for many years, but during the PiS government and the takeover of the narrative on TVP by politicians of this formation, he did not appear on Telewizja Polska.
