For this reason, the Tax Office seized her private and company accounts. He also decided to collect the receivables that had accumulated as a result of the company’s problems as part of the five-year fee. He sent a letter to the advertising agency with which Arya has a contract and stated that it was money are to be paid into their account. Previously, the same office seized nineteen payments from the 500 plus benefit and remuneration for one of the advertising campaigns in the amount of PLN 642.

The girl’s grandmother, Elżbieta Białek, also intervened in the case of the five-year-old. She wrote a letter to Mateusz Morawiecki, when he was still prime minister, and to President Andrzej Duda. She asked for help, but to no avail. – I wrote to Morawiecki, Duda and almost all ministries. Everyone has their own issues and they push my email from institution to institution without any help. – she explained.

Experts also commented on the matter, explaining that the seizure of the child’s money by the Tax Office is illegal. – Taking money from a child is treating him like a slave. This is not about taking care of budget revenues, it’s robbing a citizen, in this case a child, which is probably an even uglier crime. It is the duty of officials to ensure that taxes due to the state are transferred to the budget on time. We all expect this from them. However, they are supposed to take care of it without violating the law, especially the rights of citizens. The child is not responsible for the mother’s debts. Every official knows this perfectly well – explained Marek Isański, entrepreneur and founder of the Taxpayer’s Rights Foundation, quoted by “Wprost”. He announced that he would take legal action in this matter by notifying law enforcement authorities about the official’s crime.

– The Tax Office has nothing to do with this money. This is the child’s money and is not subject to any seizure – said prof. Robert Gwiazdowski. After the five-year-old’s case was publicized on the Internet, Monika Horna-Cie¶lak became interested in her story. According to the magazine, the Ombudsman for Children announced that she “decided to take immediate action.”
