Reactivated after 8 years, “Vacation Diaries” will return to television on March 4, 2024. The holiday paradocumentary will be broadcast on TV4, and not on Polsat, as before. The series will be available to watch from Monday to Friday and on Sunday at 9 p.m., i.e. at the times when “Love Island” is usually broadcast (the program is scheduled to return to air this spring).

This season, viewers will follow the fate of the characters for several days in a row. Each episode will feature two parallel stories. The cast of the series will include Dagmara Kaźmierska, who will play the role of Grażynka from Poland, a lonely traveler looking for peace on an exotic island. Viewers will also follow the adventures of the Kowalski family, who will try to mend family relationships while on vacation together, the holiday adventure of a newly minted millionaire, and the fate of three friends who come to the island with no money in their account.
Filming for the fifth season of “Vacation Diaries” took place at the turn of September and October 2023 in Gran Canaria. The action of the previous seasons took place on the seaside of Lloret de Mar, on Majorca and on the already mentioned Gran Canaria. The first 48 episodes were filmed from 2011 to 2013. The fourth season was broadcast 3 years later, in spring 2016. “Vacation Diaries” was based on the German X-Diaries format broadcast on RTL II.
