she never hid the fact that she was struggling with a serious illness. The journalist suffers from eosinophilic asthma, the diagnosis and treatment of which are extremely demanding and difficult. This is what Agata Młynarska is facing. The disease has been with her for years
On January 28, 2023, the event took place, which Agata M³ynarska has been supporting for years. This time, however, the goal turned out to be closer to her than ever before, because the motto was “Lungs after the pandemic”. For this reason, the journalist appeared in the program accompanied by her allergy doctor, Dorota Kierszniewska, not only to publicly encourage Poles to support Jurek Owsiak’s campaign, but also to talk about the disease accompanying it.
She admitted that she had struggled with asthma since she was a child, but the wrong diagnosis made the treatment ineffective. Only when her condition was so serious that she decided to seek help in another clinic, she came under the care of specialists who, thanks to appropriate devices, were able to accurately determine what was really wrong with her and how they could help her. – Either you help me, or I will die here – she recalled the words she said to the doctors then.
Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity 2024. What is the money collected for?
According to the assumptions, the funds obtained during this year’s collections will be used entirely for the purchase of equipment necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases for pulmonology departments. These will include: magnetic resonance imaging, polysomnographs, ultrasound machines and portable spirometers, which are used to detect the disease he is struggling with. In TVN’s morning program, she emphasized that the goal is truly noble, because as many as “4 million people in Poland struggle with this condition, and every 10 of them have a severe form of it.” The journalist admitted that she was happy about the opportunity that many patients would get thanks to this initiative. Appropriate equipment will not only enable faster and more accurate diagnosis of respiratory disease, as in her case, but will also give patients a greater chance of recovery and return to normal functioning.
