Do it carefully so as not to burn yourself. Lay the wet fabric flat, place the lid on it, and then wrap it around the glass. Use this prepared “tool” to thoroughly clean the previously vacuumed carpet. Just a few minutes of work and it will look like new. Afterwards, just wash the cloth.
