Izabella Miko was born on January 21, 1981 in Łódź in the family of an acting couple, Grażyna and Aleksander Mikołajczak. Although she made her screen debut as a 7-year-old in the film “In Space”, her greatest passion remained ballet, which she studied during a two-month scholarship at a prestigious school in New York. She decided to make the most of her stay overseas, so she started studying at the Lee Strasburger Theater and Film Institute, which turned out to be a breakthrough.
