Albert of Monaco, leader of the Grimaldi family, is facing a media crisis following complaints from Claude Palmer, the former trusted accountant of the Monegasque royal house.
This was Prince Albert of Monaco’s reunion with his mother’s family at Grace Kelly’s house, a colonial mansion the royal family bought for $800,000 in 2016.
Palmero, who was removed from his position in June 2023, revealed to the French newspaper Le Monde a series of documents showing excessive spending by both the prince and his wife Charlene in recent years.

To this compelling accusation, El Mundo adds that a former employee of the principality’s financial administration revealed that Alberto also uses the account to send annual payments of €400,000 (US$434,840) to his two acknowledged illegitimate children, Jazmin, 31, and Alexandre , 20.
A former employee of the royal house also claimed that the heir to Rainier III gave Jazmina a three million dollar apartment in New York when she turned 25.

How much wealth is Albert of Monaco?
As Monaco is one of the richest countries in the world, the head of the royal family could not have a modest fortune, and according to the Celebrity Net Worth portal, Alberto is estimated at around one billion dollars.
That website shows that Alberto is one of the richest members of the royal family in the world. It owns land in Monaco and France, including land that houses Monaco’s famous casino, the Monte Carlo Casino, and other entertainment facilities.
