90% of Poles do it with a frying pan after frying. Worst mistake! You will cry that it belongs in the trash

We use a frying pan every day in the kitchen. We use it to fry scrambled eggs for breakfast, cutlets for lunch or pancakes for dinner. Many people make the mistake of doing one thing with the pan immediately after finishing cooking. The consequences can be dire.

A frying pan is a must-have in every kitchen. We use it for frying, stewing and heating dinner. If we want it to serve us for a long time and not be thrown away after a few uses, we need to take proper care of it. This is not only about regular cleaning, but also about avoiding common mistakes. One of them is repeated very often.

Can you pour water into a hot pan? Poles have been doing this for generations

Each of us has had to deal with a heavily dirty pan at least once. You have to make a lot of effort to scrub it shiny and remove dried grease and residue. We want to avoid this in the future, so immediately after cooking, we put the pan in the sink and pour hot water over it.

Unfortunately, this is the worst possible solution. The food scraps will indeed soften and fall off, but the dish will be in a sorry state later. This practice is a quick way to ensure that the pan ends up in the trash because it will lose its properties. Never pour hot water over it immediately after removing it from the burner, because it will experience a kind of thermal shock.

How to wash the pan after frying? Pour water over it, but not immediately after cooking

The heated fat causes the pan to reach a very high temperature. If we suddenly pour water on it, we can damage its internal coating. It will then release harmful substances that will negatively affect our health. Additionally, the bottom of the pot may become deformed, which means it will not adhere well to the burner or hotplate. The heat will not be distributed evenly. You will be irritated that the food is still cold and the stove will consume more electricity. After cooking, let the pan cool down. Only then put it in the sink and fill it with water and dishwashing liquid. Leave for 15 minutes and wash the dish with a soft sponge. Do not use sharpening needles that scratch the surface.
