In what order should I watch Avengers 2024? Here is the chronology of events in the Marvel universe

How to watch ‘Avengers’ movies? In order, just as they were released in cinemas, or maybe according to the chronology of events? Or maybe in some other way? Each method has its advantages and disadvantages – we will try to point them out.

How to watch “Avengers”?

Basically, there are two different views on how to watch . these can be watched strictly in the order in which they appeared on screens. Experts emphasize that the creators knew what they were doing when they published them in this order, and to support their claim they cite post-credit scenes in each film, referring to the plot of subsequent productions. It must be admitted, however, that in this way we will not always agree with the order of events presented in the films. However, if we decide to keep the chronology of events in individual films in the series, the mentioned scenes after the credits may become a big problem – not only will they lose their meaning, but they may also constitute spoilers. Therefore, when choosing one or another way of watching the adventures of the fictional Avengers, we must take into account certain inconveniences.

Avengers: how to watch?

So how can we get to know each other better? How to watch each of the Marvel universe? The choice is ours, though specialists argue that it is better to follow the order in which films are released. All the more so because the pictures from the Marvel universe are divided into phases, which in turn combine into sagas. The first three phases are 23 films made between 2008 and 2019, which focus on the fight against Thanos and are called the Infinity Saga. Starting from phase four, we are talking about the Multiverse Saga – last year, the first of phase five was released in cinemas.

Avengers order

If you want to focus solely on the fate of the Avengers, what order should you choose? There are five main characters in the Avengers so far. The first one is “Avengers” from 2012, its continuation is “Avengers: Age of Ultron” from 2015. In 2016, a film important for the fate of the Avengers was released “Captain America: Civil War”and two years later – “Avengers: Infinity War”. The last picture so far devoted to the adventures of the Avengers is “Avengers: Endgame” from 2019. However, the creators announce further films with the Avengers in the main role.
