Oscars 2024 – nominations. Poles without success. Who has the most chance of winning?

Actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid were asked this year to provide information on who will compete for the 2024 Oscars. The statuettes will be awarded in March. The gala will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Two Polish co-productions had a chance to be nominated for an Oscar in the best feature-length documentary category. The first one is “Apolonia, Apolonia”, the second one is “From where to where”. However, it didn’t work out here. The creators of “ChÅ‚opy” were counting on the short list of candidates for the best animated film. There are no nominations here either.

When it comes to the best film category, the Academy decided to recognize ten titles. They included “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie” – films well known to Polish viewers, but also productions that are yet to appear on our screens, such as “Winter Solstice” or “Business Zone”.
