After a heavy night of drinking, the actor was hospitalized with symptoms of a heart attack. However, it was not alcohol that turned out to be the cause of health problems, but a small, but quite toxic creature that inhabits this area.

The whole situation was told by the actor’s friend, Gordon Smart, who was with him on a trip to Portugal in March last year. The men visited not only golf courses, but also organized drinking parties. After one of them, Gordon Smart felt extremely bad – he complained of a very high heart rate, reaching even over 200 beats per minute (normally it should be between 60 and 100 beats). He and Jamie decided they needed to go to the hospital. The man fainted while still in the taxi and was immediately taken to a clinic with a life-threatening condition.
When he woke up in the hospital bed, it turned out that Jamie – who had been feeling quite well – had exactly the same symptoms.

The toxic caterpillar attacks!

These Portuguese hairs can be a real nuisance – although in most people contact with their hairs results in skin irritation, they can also kill a dog and cause a heart attack in an adult, healthy man. Gordon Smart and Jamie Dornan suffered a severe allergic reaction, which fortunately did not end tragically.
