“Sick for Poland”. Bid on the “Dr Misio” album with signatures [AKCJA GAZETA.PL DLA WO¦P]

The musicians of the Dr Misio band signed the album “Chory na Polskę” and donated it to the #OneDayD³u¿ej campaign. In this way, we collect money to support the goals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

The subject of the auction is the CD album “Chory na Polskę” by Dr Misio. The CD is signed by the musicians.

Arek Jakubik about the album

– I wanted the ‘Chory na Polskę’ album to surprise our fans. Not to return to the proven sounds from previous albums. Hence the idea to make this album as eclectic and diverse as possible. From punk to techno. So that there would be more melodies, and the listeners would become more and more confused after each subsequent number – says Arek Jakubik, actor and vocalist of the band Dr Misio.

– Lyrically, it was supposed to be an album all about Poland, but in the end I came to the conclusion that it was not a good idea. I’m not interested in journalism. Ultimately, the album contains most love songs. But, as always, there are songs about time running out or loneliness. Fortunately, there is also a bit of irony and a wink, he adds.

About the #OneDayDłużej campaign – we play for WOŚP

The Gazeta.pl campaign for WOŚP was born in 2019 and it was not a happy time. The 27th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra was the first in which there was no smile and pride in helping children or the elderly until late at night. The celebration of goodness, one of the greatest social events in Poland after 1989, was interrupted by the tragic events in Gdańsk. The mayor of the city, Paweł Adamowicz, was mortally wounded on the WOŚP stage.

Then we decided: let’s finish the finale next Sunday, let’s defeat evil together. This idea is still valid, although for several years we have been finishing not a week, but the next day after the WOŚP finale.

The goal of the 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is “Lungs after the pandemic. We play for children and adults!”. The money collected as part of the #OneDayOver auction will go to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. We also invite you to watch live on January 29 in the evening, during which we will end our auctions. We hope that there will be plenty of emotions and people willing to support the campaign. See you! And you can find all our auctions.
