The popular Budokan convention, which brings together anime, comics, K-pop and video games, is preparing its first edition in the Ecuadorian capital this year. Budokan Quito 2024 will take place on May 25 and 26 at the Quito Exhibition Center.
Like the previous events in Guayaquil, organizers have promised a unique experience with great attractions and international guests. In addition, there will be no shortage of cosplay competitions, presentations and booths dedicated to Korean and K-pop culture, collectible booths, the Celerity Budokan video game tournament and much more.

One of the aspects that will be celebrated during this first meeting in Quito is the 25th anniversary of Digimon and as the first guest, Ayumi Miyazaki, a Japanese singer and composer, was recognized for performing the songs from this emblematic Japanese series, confirmed. It will also be your first time in Quito.

Another event that Budokan is preparing for this year is the Asian gastronomic festival UMAI, which will take place on July 6 and 7 in Santa Ana Garden, Guayaquil, as well as the twelfth edition of Budokan in the month of October.
