“A different childhood, spending very nice moments with my mother and my brothers. I had a somewhat normal life, but as a 45-year-old I can see that there was nothing normal about it,” he admitted to his story, before mentioning that he ended up in an orphanage when his mother was imprisoned and that he went through “very difficult” times, so even though he was a child, he had to “mature very quickly”.

“In my heart, the only thing I have is love for that lady, and in my book I ask for forgiveness from the public and those affected by the drug trade,” commented the son of Griselda Blanco, who will release his book on January 25 “My mother, godmother” where he tells his own story about his relationship with his mother.

Michael Corleone said he was aware that his mother, whom he affectionately called “my chubby girl,” “was no saint, but in my mind and heart I can’t hate her like many because at the end of the day she was my mother, my best friend”.

In the conversation with the Colombian media, he did not mention his older brothers who, probably like him, had to learn to survive by changing hiding places to avoid kidnapping or repel an attack by Griselda’s enemies.
