Invitation to the premiere of the film “Sami swoi. Popocz±tek” and the opportunity to meet the cast [GAZETA.PL DLA WO¦P]

The author of the script for the film “Sami swoi. Popocztek”, as in the case of the famous trilogy, is Andrzej Mularczyk. This is not the only person who had the opportunity to work on all productions about the feuding family. The second one is Anna Dymna, who in the latest installment plays her great-aunt. The main roles of Kargul and Pawlak in the film directed by Artur Żmijewski are played by Adam Bobik and Karol Dziuba. The cast of the production also includes Paulina Gałązka, Weronika Humaj, Zbigniew Zamachowski, Katarzyna Krzanowska, Mirosław Baka, Wojtek Malajkat, Janusz Chabior and Adam Ferency.

The subject of the auction is a double invitation to the ceremonial premiere, which will take place in Warsaw on February 15. The film distributor will also ensure that the person who wins the auction and his or her companion have the opportunity to meet the cast. This is undoubtedly quite a film (and other) adventure! And the money from the #OneDayDłużej campaign will, of course, go to the account of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.

About the film “Sami Swoi. The Beginning”

The film script was based on the book “Everyone lives as they know how” by Andrzej Mularczyk. The prototype of the character of Kazimierz Pawlak was his uncle. He lived in Tymowa near Lubin, in Lower Silesia. – He had a rich life story and was a great narrator. I listened to his life stories for several weeks and wrote them down in notebooks, which I keep to this day. There was drama, melancholy and humor in these stories – recalls Mularczyk.

In the film “Sami woi. Popocztek” we go back to the childhood and youth of Kargul and Pawlak. The creators announce that we will learn about the events that took place before they moved to the new, post-war Poland. The film’s cinema premiere is scheduled for February 16, 2024. This chapter of the story was supposed to be written first, but the political circumstances of the years were not conducive to it. 60. – Nobody would allow the production of a film that shows the brotherly Soviet nation in a negative, slightly mocking way – says Tomasz Kubski, the film’s producer.

About the #OneDayDłużej campaign – we play for WOŚP

The Gazeta.pl campaign for WOŚP was born in 2019 and it was not a happy time. The 27th Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra was the first in which there was no smile and pride in helping children or the elderly until late at night. The celebration of goodness, one of the greatest social events in Poland after 1989, was interrupted by the tragic events in Gdańsk. The mayor of the city, Paweł Adamowicz, was mortally wounded on the WOŚP stage.

Then we decided: let’s finish the finale next Sunday, let’s defeat evil together. This idea is still valid, although for several years we have been finishing not a week, but the next day after the WOŚP finale.

The goal of the 32nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is “Lungs after the pandemic. We play for children and adults!”. The money collected as part of the #OneDayOver auction will go to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
