Recently, many artists have complained that I am barely making an end, and the pandemic that has been going on for almost two years has contributed significantly to it. After all, the art industry was suspended for several months and the actors and musicians were out of work. Of course, there have also been voices from other people in the industry claiming that those who complain have it all of their own accord through their extravagance. Some admitted what they could count on after the end of their careers. Well, they’re not coconuts.

Katarzyna Skrzynecka can count on less than PLN 35

It is no secret that the amount of pension we receive depends on the contributions we pay throughout our professional career. recently she ironically stated that for such an amount she would “go crazy in old age”.

I have just received a correspondence from ZUS, which dazzles me with the hypothesis of the amount of my future PENSION. It’s 34 zlotys and 87 groszy a month !!! BUILDING to the truth … Then we will go crazy in our old age, Dear Friends, ARTISTS.

– the artist wrote on Instagram.

Of course, there are also those who can count on even less. Marek Piekarczyk at the moment, he can count on eight zlotys a month. There are also some artists who will get a little more. Maryla Rodowicz i Ryszard Rynkowski will receive a little over a thousand zlotys, and Krzysztof Cugowski about 600 zlotys.

“Describing the low pensions of stage stars is puzzling”

In an interview with “” Dr. Łukasz Wacławik comments on the matter, who is surprised that the stars are so openly complaining about their future pensions.

I am always puzzled by describing the low pensions of stage stars. It looks especially strange when the stars themselves blame the whole world for it. One of them, after returning from years spent in the USA, was surprised that she would not get a retirement pension in Poland. Life on top – on the one hand, it is a high income, but also most often a very wasteful lifestyle.

– explains.

When it comes to pensions, nobody should be surprised, after all, each of us will get what we put aside while working. Celebrities often do not act on a contract of employment, and the premiums they pay are the lowest possible, hence the amounts we wrote about above.

Each of the complainants could have paid higher contributions, but they only paid 14 groszy a month.

– ZUS spokesman explained some time ago.

Although the PiS government promised some time ago that the artists would get subsidies to their pensions, the project has still not been adopted. Apparently, the government does not want to create such an impression that it helps stars “flowing in luxuries”, and retirees who often worked for the country’s lowest “poverty”.

There is a problem, but the government is reluctant to make such changes due to the risk of losing public support, because why should we pay extra for celebrities’ pensions.

– confirms Dr. Antoni Kolek, head of the Pension Institute in an interview with “Wyborcza.biz”.

Not everyone is complaining

Of course, we cannot put all the artists in one bag, because there are also those who receive really substantial pensions. We could include in this group, for example Śp. actress Zofia Czerwińska, who admitted that her pension was over 3,000 PLN per month. – “I am not complaining, because I have already thought about securing the future” – the actress said a few years ago. On the other hand, Marian Opania, who played in numerous cabarets, performances and film productions during his career, has a pension of PLN 2,553.

And you think that the government should pass the law and pay extra pensions to artists?
