“Did you miss it? Because we really do! Today we start the great countdown to the 15th edition of Summer Dying Loud,” we read in the official announcement of the event. This year, one of the fastest growing music festivals in Poland will celebrate its anniversary.
Summer Dying Loud 2024. Who will play in Aleksandrów Łódzki?
That this year’s event will be special can be seen from the first announcement of the bands that will appear in Aleksandrów Łódzki. Overkill, the thrash metal legend of the 1980s, will perform at Summer Dying Loud. Many fans of the genre still believe that the group from New Jersey should be part of the “Big Four”, which eventually included Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax.
In addition, the festival lineup will include Borknagar, Norwegian metalheads who combine folk and progressive music, and on February 23 they will release their new album “Fall”. SDL participants will probably soon be able to listen to some songs from the album live. This year, the event organizers do not forget about Polish performers. It promises that, as every year, this part of the line-up will be as interesting as the foreign one.
Schizma, one of the oldest Polish hardcore punk bands, will play in Aleksandrów Łódzki at the end of the summer. In addition, the Sztylety group, representatives of noise punk, will perform on the festival stage.
Summer Dying Loud 2024. Where and when will the festival take place? Tickets
This year, 50 artists from around the world will appear at Summer Dying Loud. The festival will take place on September 5-7, 2024 at MOSiR in Aleksandrów Łódzki. Ticket sales for the event have already started and can be purchased via ebilet.pl.
A three-day pass for the event costs PLN 307.50 after including handling fees. It is possible to buy a ticket entitling you to overnight stay at a campsite – this option costs PLN 360.50 per person. One-day tickets for Summer Dying Loud cost PLN 169.50 this year, regardless of the day of arrival.
