The British Film Academy announced the nominations for the BAFTA awards. Łukasz Żal will compete for one of them for his cinematography in the film “Strefa Interesów”. The Polish-British-American production directed by Jonathan Glazer also received nominations in other categories: for best British film, for foreign language film, for direction, screenplay, sound, supporting actress, editing and set design.

The most nominations were given to “Oppenheimer”. Christopher Nolan’s film will compete for awards in the following categories: screenplay, leading male role (Cillian Murphy), supporting female role (Emily Blunt), supporting male role, music (Ludwig Göransson), cinematography, set design, editing, make-up, costumes and sound.
“Poor Istory” directed by Yorgos Lanthimos also has a chance for a large number of awards. The production was nominated in the following categories: best film, best British film, screenplay, female lead – Emma Stone, music, cinematography, editing, set design, costumes, make-up, special effects. “Barbie” and “Bloody Moon” will also compete for BAFTA awards.
