What is the difference between foundation and fluid? Many women think it’s the same product. Miss!

The basis of successful makeup is to hide imperfections and smooth the skin as much as possible. Some of us use foundation for this purpose, others use fluid. What is the difference between these two cosmetics? Which one should you choose to fully meet your expectations?

Carefully made, it consists of several stages. The first step is to smooth the skin, even out its color and cover discolorations. Thanks to this, the skin looks healthy and fresh. This effect is achieved using foundation or fluid, which should be invisible (the shade perfectly matches your skin tone) and provide the most natural effect possible.

Are foundation and fluid the same? The difference lies in one detail

Women who like to wear makeup are divided into two groups: those who use foundation and those who use fluid. Many people have no idea what the difference is between these two cosmetics. Some people think it’s the same product and it doesn’t matter which one they use. We hasten to explain.

Several different cosmetics can be called foundation, such as BB cream, stick foundation and cream foundation. Fluid, on the other hand, is only a foundation with a light, flowing consistency. It has a moisturizing effect, and stick or cream foundations mainly mattify. For everyday use, it is better to choose fluid because it will not dry your skin out. Other types of foundations are suitable for larger occasions.

What is the difference between facial foundation and fluid? Match the cosmetic to your complexion

If you have oily or problematic skin and want to cover imperfections, choose a stick or cream foundation that will mattify your face and reduce the visibility of scars. People with dry skin should use a moisturizing fluid to achieve a brightening effect. In the case of normal skin, there is no difference which cosmetic you choose. If you have no reason to complain about the condition of your skin, a good choice will be a BB cream that does not create a mask effect but gently evens out the skin tone. The foundation with a thick consistency is best applied with a brush, and the fluid can be applied with a finger or a sponge.
