“Pytanie na śnidanie” will gain competition. Will this be a new TVP hit?

The changes in Polish Television bypass the entertainment sphere? Nothing could be further from the truth. All signs in the sky indicate that the popular breakfast program “Pytanie na śnidanie” will gain an additional format in the afternoon. Will it turn out to be an equally big hit among viewers?

We have been observing major changes at Telewizja Polska for almost a month now. Faces invariably associated with old propaganda disappear from the schedule, and with them the journalistic and information programs they run. This fate befell, among others, “Jedziemy” led by Michał Rachoń, and “Wiadomości” (replaced by the new “19:30”), and there is no trace of Danuta Holecka or Michał Adamczyk. The focus was primarily on journalism, which is why the hosts of entertainment programs still appear on TVP. And although there are speculations about further layoffs, there are no details at the moment. You can read more about public media on the home page.

Not just names. The changes will also include the format itself

So far, “Question for Breakfast” has been canceled by, among others, Ida Nowakowska, Anna Popek and Małgorzata Opczowska, and there are many indications of further changes among the hosts of the breakfast channel. And we’re talking not only about the names, but also about the format of the program itself. As reported by ShowNews, the new management of the station has a plan to “refresh” it by offering its viewers an afternoon version of “PnŚ”. At the same time, the morning version of “breakfast” will remain in the TVP2 schedule. Interestingly, they were not the first to come up with this idea.

TVP was not the first. “Good morning TVN” was supposed to be in the afternoon band

Some time ago, TVN was planning to produce “Good Morning TVN” in the afternoon edition. And although this concept ultimately failed, its producer, Rinke Rooyens, is to hold talks on this matter with the new management of Telewizja Polska – an anonymous source reports to ShowNews. “Rinke is already conducting advanced talks. His show is to be broadcast in the afternoons and evenings. Now Rochstar is looking for journalists for the broadcast,” we read.

These reports are confirmed in the advertisement of the Rooyensa company, which recently published a job offer in the media. As Radio ZET reports, it is looking for “experienced enthusiasts specializing in the following topics: politics, literature, music, cinema/theater, criminal matters, new technologies/artificial intelligence, sport, medicine, social issues, travel, history, showbusiness, etc. “.

Will the new format be a hit for TVP? Will it remain in the shadow of the popular “breakfast food”? We will know the answer soon.
