Four infidelities and two scandals: these are the controversies that tarnish the new king of Denmark, Frederick X.

“My mother, Her Majesty Queen Margaret II, ruled Denmark for 52 years. For more than half a century, it has followed the times with our heritage as a starting point. She will always be remembered as an extraordinary regent. My mother, like few others, was at one with her kingdom. Today the throne transcends. I hope to be the unifying king tomorrow. It’s a task I’ve been looking for all my life. It is a responsibility that I take on with respect, with great pride and joy,” was Federico X’s first public speech. (AND)
