Do you throw walnut shells into the trash? This is an error. It turns out that they can be reused, for example in the care of acne skin. We explain how to prepare a homemade tonic that will bring relief to the skin.

Instead of spending money on expensive cosmetics, it is worth trying home remedies. They are ecological, natural and allow you to get rid of many common problems. Not everyone knows that you can prepare a facial tonic from nut shells, which effectively fights acne and skin inflammation.

Where does acne come from? There may be several reasons

is a chronic condition that results from disorders of the hair and sebaceous glands and leads to inflammation. It is most often caused by hormonal changes, poor diet, stress or excessive sebum production. The most common places where acne occurs is the so-called T zone, i.e. the chin, nose and forehead. How to help yourself fight this condition? There are plenty of preparations available on store shelves, but before you reach for them, it’s worth trying a home remedy.

Break and mix with water. Once you know how they work, you’ll never throw them away

Walnut shells contain a lot of vitamins: C, B, P, E and K, as well as potassium, iodine, silicon, iron and selenium. Unfortunately, many people still do not know that instead of throwing them into the trash, shells can be reused. They contain valuable tannins that have a disinfecting effect and are therefore perfect for the care of acne-prone skin. All you need to do is scald the shells with hot water, dry them, then break them and grind them. Pour boiling water over the resulting powder and leave for a few hours, after which you will obtain a nourishing facial tonic. To get the desired results, use it twice a day on cleansed skin.
