He was only 14 years old when he played one of the main roles in the hit series “Siedem ¯yczeñ” by TVP. He was the star of the series “Seven Wishes”. He quickly ended his screen career

I don’t think anyone has any doubts that Daniel Kozakiewicz contributed to the success of the series. The young actor, who had only an episode in the film “The Day of the Hummingbird”, created his hero in an extremely credible manner, becoming an idol of young people. However, working on the set had a negative impact on his education. Due to the number of shooting days, he neglected his school duties. Later, he had an individual course of study, but he was not able to catch up on all the arrears.

He didn’t worry about it, because after the filming ended, he tried his hand at the industry, performing, among others, in , “Close, getting closer” or “Decalogue X”. He tried to apply to the Łódź Film School twice, but in vain. Later he wanted to become a psychologist, but he failed the exam, so he eventually graduated in journalism.

I admit that I made this choice out of laziness rather than conviction

– . He had other skills up his sleeve that he decided to focus on. This is how he discovered his life’s calling and passion, which he pursues to this day.

He was supposed to leave for half a year, but he was gone for over a decade. What does Daniel Kozakiewicz do today?

When Kozakiewicz was 10 years old, his father gave him a camera with which he learned how to frame properly. Over time, it turned into a passion and then a life idea. He presented his work at many exhibitions. One of them, titled “Journey with a Demon – Exhibition of Broken Photography”, turned out to be a breakthrough in his life and career.

It was then that he received an offer from the cultural promotion department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to exhibit his works in Latin America. He didn’t hesitate for a moment. He went to Peru, where he ended up spending over a decade because he got married and had a daughter, Amaya Aleksandra. In the meantime, it was developing dynamically, which even resulted in setting a Guinness record by creating the largest mural in the world. In 2011, Kozakiewicz decided to return to his homeland, but the decision was not easy for him. – Half of my heart and soul today are Latin American – he said.

In 2024, the artist will celebrate his 54th birthday. After returning to Poland, he decided to pursue his old passion, founding the “Teraz Impro Start” school of theater improvisation and creating short films. He continues to develop as a photographer, mainly taking nudes and portraits of women. – A scandal is rather created knowing what consequences it will bring. For me it’s not intentional. I don’t do controversial things for the sake of scandal, storm and applause. This is simply how I am in everyday life, in contact with the world, with myself and with other people – he said about his work in Wirtualna Polska.
