Both are journalists, but they avoided each other at work. What is the relationship between the Młynarski sisters?

Even though they are sisters and work in the same profession, they have not always been close. Paulina and Agata M³ynarskie do not hide the fact that their relationship was complicated for a long time and that they were far from friends. However, they put a lot of work into understanding and reaching each other. Today they live in other countries, but they try to maintain the bond between them.

Paulina and I don’t think she needs to be introduced to anyone. The popular journalists are the result of the first marriage of the late legendary poet and singer with actress Adrianna Godlewska. Although both of them were professionally involved in journalism, like their youngest brother Jan, they avoided each other professionally like the plague. In private, their relationship was not always good. What was the reason for this?

They are journalists, but they have never worked together. The conflict was attributed to the Młynarski sisters

Legends have circulated about the conflict between the Młynarski sisters for years. The media constantly created new theories about what could have set them apart. However, the matter turned out to be much more prosaic. They both have very strong personalities, but their characters are completely different. Paulina is five years younger than me. However, the biggest problem turned out to be the lack of time to cultivate relationships. – We didn’t always get along, we couldn’t always get along. And we didn’t always have time for each other. (…) But we didn’t really have that much anger towards each other – Agata Młynarska during an interview in “Dzień Dobry TVN”.

She emphasized that from the beginning of their work in the media, they tried to emphasize their individuality because they did not want to be accused of achieving success thanks to a famous name. Even though they operated in the same industry, they tried to undertake different projects and not meet during work. – Each of us followed a different path. We did different things, we liked different things, each of us wanted to be very independent. Jasiek didn’t like interference in his work. Paulina, on the other hand, did things similar to mine. Inevitably, she later started working as a journalist, so I could feel that she was taking over some of my field, she continued. Separating themselves professionally, however, was a well-thought-out decision and did not result from any conflict that the colorful press attributed to them. – I understand that you might have had the impression that we weren’t in contact. But it was our decision that one should simply not get in the way of the other, she explained.

Their father’s illness brought them closer together. What does Paulina and Agata Młynarski’s relationship look like today?

They realized how strong their bond was when Wojciech Młynarski became seriously ill. It was then that the three of them shared the responsibilities to provide their father with proper care and at the same time not have to give up their professional activities. They supported each other in difficult times and felt that no matter how the situation turned out, they had each other and could rely on each other. – We used to play cats together, and there was a big age difference between us. Thanks to our brother and sister, we were able to share this care. I knew that when I was busy or away, they would take over. I was there when they couldn’t – said Paulina Młynarska in an interview with “Show” magazine.

It was this difficult time for the family that brought them closer together. Then they realized how insignificant all previous disagreements were and decided that they would no longer allow any trivial matter to divide them. – There were times when my sister and I had differences, but now we are old sparrows. Agata is over fifty, and I will soon turn 47, we have enough life wisdom to know what is really important – added the journalist in the same interview. Today, the Młynarskis are an example of a sisterly relationship, and although Paulina has been living in Greece for several years, the distance does not stand in their way. They visit each other and enjoy spending time together.
