“Maciek (played by Maciej Musiał) is a bright and composed twenty-year-old, although he has to borrow money and a car for the date from his dad. His father Aleks (played by Maciej Stuhr) is currently trying to live without major stress. However, twenty-five years ago, in on the day of his eighteenth birthday, he set off an explosive, stole a car and ‘made a lot of money’ with a shady businessman, thereby winning the heart of a beautiful woman. So he set the bar high. Now it will turn out whether his son inherited his daring character and penchant for dangerous intrigues” – we read in the official description of “Fuks 2”.

Maciej Stuhr about Maciej Musial: I thought he cared not so much about a bigger career, but about a better career

It is worth remembering that the first “Fuks” hit cinemas in 1999. Now we learn the continuation of this story. We talked to Maciej Stuhr at the premiere of the film, which will be released on January 12. We asked him, among other things: about cooperation with Maciej Musiał.

I felt a bond with Maciek even before I met him, because I was very moved by the fact that he decided to apply to acting school at a time when he was already a very famous and popular actor. This reminded me of my story, where exactly after the movie “Fuks”, when a lot of things started happening around me, I also made this decision, even though not everyone understood it at the time. I thought he wasn’t so much interested in a bigger career as in a better career.

It is still said that “Fuks” gave impetus to young Stuhr’s career. Today, the actor’s credits include: two Eagles (for “Pokłosie” and “Return to those days”). Maciej Musiał started as a child in the series “Rodzinka.pl”. He played in it in the years 2011-2020. His filmography later included, among others: roles in “Time of Honor”, “Blood of Blood” and “Klangor”, as well as in international productions (“1899”, “The Witcher”).

“Fuks 2” – what is the movie about?

As announced by the creators of “Fuks 2”, Maciek’s dangerous adventure begins with an Internet date. It connects him with two intriguing women, and this meeting entangles the hero in a web of intrigue and brings down the gangster’s wrath. This is the one the policeman known from the previous part is hunting.

The sequel is a loose continuation of the fate of the heroes of the 1999 production. The cast also included, among others: Paulina Gałązka, Katarzyna Sawczuk and Cezary Pazura. Maciej Dutkiewicz and Arkadiusz Borowik are responsible for the script.
