Last week, the media wrote loudly about the end of Marek Sierocki’s cooperation with the editorial office of “Teleexpress”. Some also reported that the journalist would completely leave Telewizja Polska. However, the general director of Telewizja Polska, Tomasz Sygut, denied these reports in an interview with the portal.
Marek Sierocki was not fired from TVP. We talked and we scheduled a meeting right after the New Year. The potential and vast experience of Sierocki’s editor will certainly be used on public television, he said.

The website’s editors found information that the meeting took place this week. Later, they managed to contact Sierocki himself, who confirmed that he was staying at TVP. When asked if he would return to “Teleexpress”, he replied briefly:
I think not. There will be something new, Sierocki revealed.
However, he did not want to provide any specific information. – I have a rule that I don’t comment on anything about myself – he commented. Let us recall that the journalist started working for Telewizja Polska in the mid-1980s, when he started the so-called music corner in “Teleexpress”. Now his place has been taken by 33-year-old Mateusz Jędraś.
