I have never been sick in my life. I don’t smoke, I rarely drink. Breast cancer is not hereditary. As part of his announcement51-year-old journalist offered details of his treatment: he is in the second month of chemotherapy. Except, she will undergo a double mastectomy.

“The third stage is no longer a death sentence for the vast majority of patients, But what struck me was something I didn’t know before I got this diagnosis: If you are a black woman, you are 41% more likely to die from breast cancer but white women,” she said.

Because, she invited all her sisters (white or black) to take the exams every year. “Try to catch the disease before I do.”

Despite the difficult health situation, Sidner admitted that he is more in love with her life than ever. “Nonsense that used to bother me no longer exposes me to stress. Now every day I breathe again and I celebrate that I am still here with you and that I can still love and cry and have hope. And that, my dear friends, is enough.”
