The actress talked about how much it meant to her to play this character. “Playing Bella was incredible, it made me see life in a different way. This means a lot to me”said.

Poor things is a fantastic fable about the liberation of women, directed by the Greek Yorgos Lanthimos. It is an adaptation of a novel by the Scot Alasdair Gray about a woman who is brought back to life by a strange surgeon (Willem Dafoe) and by starting all over again is able to face her life completely freely, without shame or prejudice.

Stone plays a Frankenstein who longs for sex and experiences in a decadent and imaginary Europe at the end of the 19th century. (JO)
