One of the readers of nazwa.gazeta.pl wrote to the editorial office to share her surprise related to her recent stay in the Polish mountains. The woman went with her partner and son to a popular ski resort between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. “We expected high costs, especially since we were looking for accommodation at the last minute, but luckily we managed to find accommodation at a reasonable price,” wrote Mrs. Dagmara (name for editorial information) from Leszno near Warsaw.

“We knew it would be expensive”

Our reader admits that she was not surprised by the ticket prices: “We knew it would be expensive. For a day of riding, we paid PLN 170 for me and my partner, and not much less for the child,” she recalls. At the same time, she admits that she was pleasantly surprised by the prices at the inn on the slope.

“We paid PLN 114 for a set for a child, a large grilled sausage, fried cabbage, moskola, cucumbers and a drink. I expected twice as much, because the portions were really big and the food was tasty,” wrote Ms. Dagmara and attached the receipt as proof. for your order. “And we know how much food costs in catering establishments located on the slopes or in their immediate vicinity. So I don’t know where this nationwide complaint comes from,” he adds.

Mrs. Dagmara admits that her trip lasted only three days, but when the winter break begins and we go away for at least a week, she will have to take more costs into account. “We’ll try to buy meals somewhere, it’s always cheaper than in restaurants on the slopes,” he assures.
