The death of Witek Ulicy Music was announced on his Facebook. “Witek, you changed our perception of the world and music, we are grateful for every moment together, meetings, concerts and beauty that you gave to the world,” write the profile admins. “We will inform you about the funeral ceremonies in the coming days,” they add.

The musician grew up in Kołczyn, and at the turn of the third and fourth grade he founded a rock band with his friends called “Śrubokręt”. For years he was a music volunteer, he wanted to spread his passion, so he gave free lessons at primary schools. He lived on the streets of Warsaw for a year. The experience resulted in amateur recordings that he posted on YouTube.
The listeners loved him. Within a month, videos of his street performances garnered over a million views. Thanks to the fundraiser, Mikołajczuk managed to release his debut album “Gram dla Was” with his group of friends. In a similar way, the second album “Rocko Punko Polo”, released in 2018, was financed.
Witek Muzyk Ulicy has gathered 109,000 subscribers on YouTube. His songs such as “Love Bullet”, “I miss you” and “Param, param” have millions of views.
In 2019, the artist played at one of the largest music festivals in Poland. He performed in front of thousands of fans during the Pol’and’Rock Festival. “This artist’s concerts remind us that you don’t have to follow one path in life, and it’s never too late for changes,” the organizers described his concert.
