Now she made another personal confession, telling what his last moments were like.

It all started in March 2021, when Krawczyk unexpectedly fell ill. At that time, he was convinced that it was a common cold, but treatment did not bring any improvement. In a conversation with Ewa Krawczyk, she revealed that it was she who decided to hospitalize him. When he got to the hospital, it turned out that he had coronavirus and his condition was much more serious than anyone expected. Especially since he had many comorbidities, including: diabetes, asthma and Parkinson’s disease, which further worsened his well-being and prognosis. – Nobody knew that he was very sick. Including him. Lying down exhausted him. It was only three weeks before his death that I took him to the hospital, the woman recalled.

Krawczyk was not aware of his condition. These were the words he said before his death

Only two days before his death, he informed fans that he was returning home. – He improved so much that he returned home – said Ewa Krawczyk. At that time, the singer assured that his condition was stable and that he was slowly regaining strength, which was confirmed by the announced concerts and events with his participation. – He believed until the end that he would play and record again. I encouraged him to give interviews by phone and he did it until the end, recalled the singer’s wife, who made sure he did not lose his cheerfulness and hope for recovery. – I kept signing contracts for concerts so that no one would know that things were bad – she added, admitting that she was also under the illusion that his condition would improve.

After leaving the hospital, he appeared to be in good shape and tried not to complain about his condition. – When he came home, he acted as if he wasn’t sick at all. We sat and talked, and a movie about him called “My Whole Life” was showing on TV. We watched it together – recalled Ewa Krawczyk. However, these were the musician’s last moments, because after two days his condition unexpectedly deteriorated dramatically. Unfortunately, it was too late to save him. – He came to say goodbye to me. When I called an ambulance before my death, the doctor asked: “Krzysiu, what’s going on?” And he said: “I’m fighting,” said the musician’s distraught widow.
