3 things we should avoid after brushing our teeth
On the Facebook account run by Michał, there is a video in which the dentist lists 3 things that should not be done after brushing your teeth. First of all, we should not put a plastic cover on the toothbrush. It should be stored dry. The second thing the man told us was that we shouldn’t rinse our mouths after brushing our teeth. Of course, you should spit out everything that is in your mouth, but you should avoid rinsing your mouth with water, because this does not allow the ingredients contained in the paste to be incorporated into the enamel structure. And the third thing, which according to Michał is the most important – after brushing our teeth, we should not eat or drink for 30 minutes. It’s also about ensuring that the paste we use has a chance to work properly on our teeth.
Not all Internet users share the opinion of the Dentist’s Dad
In another video, @Tata Dentist decided to answer the age-old question that torments many people, namely: should you brush your teeth before or after breakfast? According to Michał, both those who brush their teeth before and those who brush them after are doing the right thing. However, it is better to brush your teeth before breakfast. By brushing our teeth immediately after waking up, we remove bacterial plaque from our teeth and get rid of it from the oral cavity. The second argument that brushing your teeth after breakfast is better is the fact that after eating and drinking, we should wait about 20-30 minutes for our body to neutralize the pH in the mouth. However, not all Internet users agree with the dentist’s opinion, questioning both his opinion in the first and second videos. Many already have their own established habits that are difficult for them to give up.
