The Christmas and New Year break is over, but children will soon be able to relax again. Winter holidays are not only time off from classes, but also many children go with their parents on winter holidays or summer camps. This year, the holidays have been slightly postponed, and students from the Lower Silesian, Opole, Masovian and West Pomeranian voivodeships will be the first to rest.

• January 15 – 28, 2024 – Lower Silesia, Masovia, Opole and West Pomerania,
• January 22 – February 4, 2024 – Podlasie and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship,
• January 29 – February 11, 2024 – Lublin, Łódź, Podkarpackie, Pomeranian and Silesian,
• February 12 – 25, 2024 – Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Lubuskie, Lesser Poland, Świętokrzyskie and Greater Poland.

What days are free for students in 2024? These are the days when students will take a break from school

There will be a lot of days off from school in 2024. Right after the holidays, there will be an Easter break, and then the May weekend, which is extremely favorable this year, and students will have as many as 5 days off. Here are the dates for a longer break from school:

• Easter from March 28 to April 2,
• May holiday 2024 from May 1 to May 5,
• Matura exams from May 7 to 9 – free for students of lower secondary school classes,
• eighth-grade exam from May 14 to 16 – students of the younger grades of primary schools have the day off,
• Corpus Christi from May 30 to June 2 (school management may decide to set a day off on May 31),
• end of the school year – Friday, June 21,
• This year’s holidays are from June 22 to August 31, 2024.
