Changes in Telewizja Polska are ongoing, although by the decision of the Minister of Culture, TVP was put into liquidation. More journalists are returning to work, whom viewers have not seen or heard in public media for eight years. There are also new faces, although known from other stations. On December 29, TVP Info resumed broadcasting. Since the takeover, the channel has been broadcasting a signal from TVP Polonia. For now, we won’t see “horror bars” there, although, as the current head of the Television Information Agency emphasized, they will return over time, although viewers can say goodbye to the bars they have seen for the last eight years. There will be no disinformation, deception and manipulation. Not all current TVP viewers like the changes.

At the end of December, one of the GoniecTV reporters met a viewer of the former TVP Info on the street. The pretext for the conversation was the wishes of politicians. The upset woman first admitted that she “didn’t wish anything to Donald Tusk and Szymon Hołownia because she didn’t like them.” Later in the conversation, she complained about what had been happening on Polish Television for several weeks. The woman clearly did not like the changes in public media.

– I wish Duda and Kaczyński to gain power in Poland as soon as possible, to rule in Poland as soon as possible. Let TVP Info come back, because now we only have communist films, said the woman. – I miss TVP Info – she admitted, not hiding her anger at what was and is currently happening on Telewizja Polska. There were also some harsh words. – I’m crying for Info. 8 million people who voted for PiS are also crying for TVP Info. But they are cultured, so they don’t fight over TVP Info. They suffer in silence because they are believers, she added.
She also admitted that she doesn’t watch TV at all anymore. She prefers religious books, all because instead of her favorite programs, Telewizja Polska broadcasts “only communist films and programs.” – We are going back to the times of the Polish People’s Republic – she said. The GoniecTV journalist also asked her about what is going to happen in Poland now and whether she has anything to say to people like her who only receive Polish Television channels at home. The TVP Info viewer admitted that she would pray for Jarosław Kaczyński to return to power as soon as possible and “be in the government again.” – Faith works miracles – she admitted and added that they “cannot fight with knives”.
