Where to watch the films nominated for the Golden Globes, which will be awarded on January 7

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards are just around the corner, and behind them is an extensive list of nominees who will be honored at the 81st edition, which will take place on January 7.

The awards will be presented at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, and users will be able to watch the broadcast via the CBS signal in the United States, and via TNT and HBO Max in Latin American countries.

This edition is defined as a new era of awards, according to media outlet El Colombiano, after the rights were sold to Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge Industries.

Nominations include the best in film and television. The first row covers different categories such as drama film, comedy or musical film, best foreign language film, best actress, best actor and a new category called cinematographic achievement at the box office.

As for the movies with the most nominations, here’s where to watch them so you can catch up before the Golden Globes arrive.

Barbie

Barbie was released in July 2023 and became one of the highest grossing films of the year. Although it is no longer available in theaters, it can be seen on the HBO Max signal. It is the only film with nine nominations at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards.

Oppenheimer

It hit theaters almost at the same time as Barbie and has just one nomination less than the Mattel doll movie. It can be found on Apple and Google, according to Colombian.

Killers of the Flower Moon

Martin Scorsese’s film starring Leonardo DiCaprio opened in theaters in October 2023. It has seven nominations. It is available on Apple TV+.

Poor thing

There are seven nominations. Its theatrical release was delayed until December 8, 2023 in the United States due to the actors’ strike that began in July of that year. In countries like Spain and Mexico, it will premiere on January 24 and 25, respectively, as reported by Vogue.

Past lives

It is the non-English speaking film with the most nominations as it has been added in five categories. It premiered in theaters in the United States in June 2023, but can currently be found on Prime Video.

Anatomie d’une chute (Anatomy of a fall)

It premiered in May 2023 at the Cannes Film Festival. It received three nominations at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards and can currently be found on streaming platforms such as Netflix, HBO Max or Amazon Prime Video.

Teacher, teacher, professor

It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on September 2, 2023, and was released in theaters in November of the same year before being available on Netflix from December 20. He has four nominations.

Zone of interest

Like Maestro, it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. It arrived in US cinemas on December 15, although it can be seen in the UK from February 2, 2024, reports Depor. He has three nominations.
