I really like the atmosphere of Christmas, but this year’s holidays were not very kind to us. It’s all because an incident occurred in my house during Christmas preparations. This made further preparations unnecessary and the atmosphere weakened. It seems funny, but I’ll tell you from the beginning.

On Christmas Eve morning, I asked my husband to go to the market and buy a Christmas tree. I wanted something big. He had no problem with it, and I was grateful that he would relieve me of the burden in such a simple way. I knew it wouldn’t be an easy task because we live on the second floor and bringing in a Christmas tree might be difficult. And I did it. When Maciek was carrying the Christmas tree up the stairs, at some point he lost his balance and fell. As a result, he broke his finger.
“Normally I’m quite outspoken, but then I was speechless”
I was devastated because I knew there would be no way to do without the hospital. We went to the emergency room, where we spent over two hours. When we finally managed to get to the office, the attending doctor looked at us with contempt and asked if we really had to come to the hospital with a sore finger even on Christmas Eve. Normally I’m quite articulate, but then I was speechless. A moment later he bandaged his husband, but he performed every move with grace. I didn’t make a fuss because I wanted to get home quickly. I thought he was a real boor. I wouldn’t wish such doctors on anyone.
