Netflix was one of the options for enjoying Christmas movies, but the holiday season has come to an end, and with it, new releases movies from 2024 either on the big screen or on streaming platforms streaming.

If 2023 was a great opportunity to enjoy good cinema, this 2024 will be full of great premieres, and fans are already paying attention to the prequels and sequels that, despite the Hollywood strike, will reach the public in the blink of an eye.

This is an avalanche of productions which, according to Mileni, are the most anticipated films of 2024, because they are also the continuation of other already seen productions.

Dina: Second part, (March 1)

Directed by Canadian Denis Villeneuve, the cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Javier Bardem, and includes Florence Pugh and Austin Butler. The premiere has been moved from March 15 to March 1, 2024, it said millennium.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (March 29)

The new version of Ghostbusters will appear on screens at the end of the first quarter of 2024.

Inside Out 2 (June 14)

Riley returns with her avalanche of sensations and a new emotion taking over her brain nine years later.

Deadpool 3 (July 26)

Acting Ryan Reynolds brings back Hugh Jackman who plays the mythical Wolverine from the X-men saga. This is one of the most anticipated films of 2024 by Marvel Studios.

Beetlejuice 2 (September 6)

Tim Burton takes on the story of an unusual spirit in a striped suit played by Michael Keaton. Jenna Ortega joins the action as a new protagonist in the role of Lydia, which was originally played by Winona Ryder in 1988, reminds GQ.

Joker: Folie a Deux (October 4)

Todd Phillips’ long-awaited sequel reunites Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker with the addition of Lady Gaga in the main cast to take on the role of Harley Quinn. This second story will become a musical, as described by Milenio.

Gladiator 2 (November 22)

This Ridley Scott sequel brings Pedro Pascal to replace Russell Crowe in the production, which could premiere in November 2024. The cast includes Denzel Washington and Barry Keoghan.

Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim (December 13)

The prequel set 183 years before the events described in the Lord of the Rings trilogy directed by Kenji Kamiyama is scheduled to hit screens on December 13, 2024.
