After New Year’s Eve, the guests went home and you were left with a fridge full of food? Nothing is lost! On January 1, rarely anyone has the strength or desire to stand in the kitchen. Prepare a quick dish for dinner with what’s left after a house party.

Regardless of whether you spent New Year’s Eve in a private way or prepared a big party, there will definitely be something on the table. The most popular ones include mini tortillas with vegetables, pasta salads and meat balls. Instead of throwing your leftovers into the trash, make a delicious dinner out of them. After playing, no one wants to spend hours in the kitchen, so it’s worth using a quick recipe.

Pasta and cheese casserole. A good way to empty the fridge

The casserole is very quick to make and tastes delicious. This is one of the most universal dishes because you can add almost anything you have in the fridge. To prepare a tasty dinner from leftovers, it is best to use:

  • 700 g of tube pasta,
  • 500 g of minced meat,
  • 250 g mushrooms,
  • 250 g of yellow cheese,
  • 200 g of corn,
  • 1 large red onion,
  • a bunch of chives,
  • 200 ml of cream 30%,
  • Spices: salt, pepper, marjoram, oregano.

The best pasta casserole. You can do it in less than an hour

Start by cooking the pasta al dente. Wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices or cubes, whichever is more convenient for you. Peel the onion, cut into slices and fry in a pan. Add minced meat and chopped mushrooms to it. Season everything with salt, pepper, marjoram and oregano. Cover the pan and simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes. Pour the pasta into an ovenproof dish, add the things from the pan, corn and finely chopped chives. Mix everything and pour cream over it. Sprinkle the top of the dish with coarsely grated yellow cheese. Put in the oven for 20 minutes and bake at 180 degrees Celsius.
