And then the details were shown, i.e. how much exactly the main faces of the management received – Michał Adamczyk, Rafał Tulicki and Jarosław Olechowski. There was also a statement from a young doctor who stated with disappointment that he would have to work several dozen jobs, a a teacher would achieve a similar annual salary after… 23 years.
The astonished viewers were shown a statement by the new Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, stating that the gentlemen at TAI earned more than the president, a statement by a representative of the Supreme Audit Office about numerous irregularities in recent years, and this was countered by a protest by PiS MPs and former TVP employees in buildings belonging to public media.
Since the materials now have to include the other side’s counter, which was not always the case in “Wiadomości” materials, we saw what PiS MPs propose through the mouth of Mariusz Błaszczak. The proposal to extend the obligation to submit asset declarations to employees in media companies is a proposal of Law and Justice to reduce the pathologies that occurred during the times of – yes, that’s right – PiS in the public media.
The most interesting thing, however, is what was NOT shown in “19:30” and what would undoubtedly be included in the old “”. These are the salaries of journalists from the past – including Tomasz Lis and Maciej Orłoś, thanks to which PiS tried for half a day to counter information about the earnings of “their” people. This information could also easily appear in “19:30”, especially since it can be easily supported by the news that in the times of those “fat cats” (this is what PiS calls, among others, Tomasz Lis), TVP was profitable – and not losses, as it did during the PiS era.
