The storm continues and it doesn’t seem to be abating anytime soon. After the dismissal of the current presidents of TVP and the Television Information Agency by the Minister of Culture Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, the occupation of the buildings by Law and Justice MPs, the veto of the budget-related bill by President Andrzej Duda, and finally the putting into liquidation of TVP, another scandal related to television came to light. This time, attention was drawn to the recently revealed gigantic “TVP stars”. All thanks to the parliamentary intervention.
Earnings of “TVP stars”. This is how much Michał Adamczyk and Samuel Pereira earned. “Fasten your seat belts”
As part of the parliamentary intervention, Dariusz Joński, an MP from the Civic Coalition, asked TVP to provide public information. It was about the earnings of directors of the Television Information Agency in 2023. He received the answer on December 28, and published a scan of the letter on the X website.
Buckle up! This is the result of a real parliamentary inspection. Millions for PiS bosses of TVP. We now know why they barricaded themselves there
– in the description of the post. What follows from the answer given by the TVP liquidator? TVP “stars” and TAI directors earned millions.
- Michał Adamczyk, as the director of the Television Information Agency, earned a total of over PLN 1.5 million.
- Samuel Pereira as deputy director of TAI earned over PLN 439,000. zloty.
- Marcin Tulicki, as deputy director of TAI, earned a total of over PLN 713,000. zloty.

- Jarosław Olechowski, as director of TAI (which he was until April 2023), earned a total of over PLN 1.4 million.
Donald Tusk commented on the matter. He suggested that they would have to pay the money back to the state
The letter caused a lot of emotions, and no wonder. Now Prime Minister Donald Tusk has commented on the matter. He published a post on the X website in which he pointed out that “TVP stars” earned 40 times more than teachers or nurses.
And the list of shame is much longer. Will they lead Kaczyński’s Millionaires’ March? I don’t think so. Will they have to give the money back to the state? I guess so.
– wrote Tusk. In the post, he suggested that former directors and deputy heads of TAI will have to give back what they earned in office.
The head of the president’s office, Grażyna Ignaczak-Bandych, also commented on the earnings of “TVP stars” on Polsat News. Initially, she noticed that these amounts should be compared with the earnings of previous directors. However, she emphasized that these were gigantic sums. – For me this is huge money. Normal people don’t earn that much – . She also added that it may be necessary to regulate earnings in public media by law to prevent such situations from occurring.
