He went on to say that if the production felt pressured or didn’t want him, they shouldn’t have shot his scene and kept it for over 30 years. “I was and still am great for the movie, that’s why.” He asked Columbus if that is the filmmaker’s real name (it is), and claimed that this is “another Hollywood man from the past trying to take a piece of Trump publicity for himself.”
The Columbus interview resurfaced this month. Then he assured that They paid a fee to film at the Plaza, but the owner told them he would only allow them if he was in the movie.and they agreed, although in his case he did so “reluctantly” because he did not have complete control over the situation.
He also said that people cheered in the theaters at the premiere when he recognized Trump. But he added that he had “forced his presence in the film.”
“Nothing could be further from the truth,” replied the 77-year-old politician, who has also had other cameos in film and TV: Sex and the City, Zoolander, Wall Street: Money never sleeps And Two weeks notice.
