Meza was born in El Piñal, Department of Sucre (Colombia region), on September 26, 1937 and over time became a versatile performer who played very well several instruments such as accordion, piano, guitar, bass, dowel, cuatro, tumbadora, box and bagpipes.
As the years passed and showing his musical talent, Lisandro Meza conquered other borders and triumphantly visited Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Central America, Mexico and the United States.
