A wedding and reception are extremely important events in the lives of lovers. No wonder they want to look special that day. Imagine the surprise of a bride who found a fake of her original wedding dress online just half a year after the successful ceremony.
She dreamed of a unique outfit for her wedding. She didn’t expect this
Toni Norton is an internet creator who became a bit loud some time ago. All because of the unusual dress she chose for her wedding. The tailor-made mermaid-cut model by designer Alonuka consisted largely of mesh and lace, which boldly revealed her body. It was also distinguished by a characteristic back with additional white material.
Although half a year has passed since the ceremony, the topic of creation has returned to the agenda. It turned out that an almost identical dress appeared on a popular auction site. – So I did what I think any self-respecting bride would do. I bought it – she said in one of the recordings published on TikTok. The woman wanted to check whether it would be at least partially as good as the original.
She ordered a fake of her dress online. She spent PLN 790 on it
The dress she found online cost $200 (approx. PLN 790), which was only a fraction of what she spent on the original designed and sewn especially for her. She waited several weeks for the package, and as soon as it arrived, she immediately started comparing it. After opening it, she noticed the first significant differences, primarily in the color and quality of the mesh, which she described as a “nasty job”. The outfit also lacked the corset that the original had. When she put both of them side by side, the differences in the quality of workmanship were visible to the naked eye. Nevertheless, they were so similar that there could be no mistake.
For $200 it’s not bad. I mean, she’s adorable
She’s really not that bad
There is a huge difference, but there is something about it
– commented surprised Internet users.
