Kamil Stoch was born in Zakopane, but he spent most of his childhood in Ząb, a village in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in the Poronin commune. Ząb is located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, and is only 10 kilometers away from Zakopane. What does the famous jumper look like?
Kamil Stoch’s house is a real architectural pearl. It has 4 floors
Kamil Stoch decided to live in the Olympian’s home village. Instead of buying a house, they decided to build it themselves and opted for the traditional highland style. The building is over 500 square meters, made of wooden logs, and on its external walls there are beautiful carved elements that give it a Podhale style. The construction of the house was carried out by a local company and artists who took care of the finishing.

— Creating such a structure is extremely difficult and few carpenters can cope with the precision of such workmanship. (…) All elements are handicrafts and work of local artists, masters with whom I am happy to cooperate – in an interview Adam Bukowski, an architect working on the construction of this four-story villa.
The jumper can look at the Tatra Mountains through the windows. The interior is also decorated in highlander style
The street where Kamil Stoch’s house is located is called… Kamil Stoch Street. The ski jumper’s villa is the pride of the inhabitants of Ząb and this is their way of thanking him for making the small town famous.
The windows of the villa offer a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains. Thanks to the photos shared by Kamil Stoch on Instagram, we can see that the interior of the house is also dominated by wood, and the walls are finished with carved patterns.
