He allegedly twisted a woman’s arm and broke a finger to get her cell phone back. When she wanted to get out of the car and run away, the star allegedly pushed her back into the car.
The actor’s defense emphasized that Majors used force for the benefit of Jabbari, who was not safe in the middle of a busy street. The incident was recorded by local surveillance cameras. The former partner did not file charges against Majors, the state of New York did, so the case was a criminal trial – not a civil one.
