The problem of dry, dehydrated facial skin is a problem I struggle with all year round, especially in winter. Low temperatures, frosty wind, heating – all this causes an unpleasant feeling of tightness, and the skin, due to dry cuticles, sometimes even looks like it was sprinkled with flour. In such situations, I usually reach for cosmetics that bring immediate relief and also deeply moisturize the skin. What products are we talking about?
Which tonic for mature, dry skin? I choose rose water from Make me Bio
Tonic is a cosmetic that I cannot do without. The rose water from Make me Bio works best for me. It has a very simple composition, a delicate scent, and thanks to the atomizer, I don’t need to rub it into sensitive skin, because I just spray it. I always use it after cleansing and before cream, and I also add it to homemade clay-based masks or as a base for hair oiling. I usually buy it on sale at the Pigment Drugstore for about PLN 16-20, but you can find it in most stores.
What is the best cream for dry skin? Weleda Skin Food for special tasks
I have been using Weleda Skin Food cream for years. I usually use it throughout the day, and also in situations when the problem with dryness becomes more severe. First of all, I warn you that it is oily and thick, so application may be a problem at first. Personally, I apply it after a bath, on previously cleansed skin, and go to sleep. The feeling of tightness disappears almost immediately, and in the morning the skin is deeply moisturized and nourished. It is also useful for rough skin on the elbows or hands. I usually buy it online for about PLN 30-40, although it can also be found at Hebe.

What to do when the skin on your face is dry? Cremobaza 10 percent for PLN 12
In my morning care, I usually use Cremobaza 10%. This is a very nice, budget option (PLN 11-15 per tube), available at any pharmacy. It leaves a pleasant, soft and soothing coating on the skin. Additionally, it mixes perfectly with my foundation, so the skin is protected even when wearing full makeup.
What about very dry skin? Blue Lynia cream
Alternately with Weleda and Cremobaza, I also use a moisturizing and exfoliating moisturizer from Lynia, day or night. Due to the acid content, I only apply it in the morning on cloudy days and don’t forget to apply sunscreen afterwards. Lynia has a nice, light formula that absorbs quickly, is not sticky, and after use, the skin becomes soft and moisturized. You can find it in most online drugstores, on sale for about PLN 40.
