The whole world is already talking about what happened on December 12, 2023. During the ceremony dedicated to the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, a member of the Confederation entered the podium of the plenary hall with a fire extinguisher in his hand to extinguish the previously lit candles. The scandal received wide coverage in the media, including foreign ones, and one of the portals reporting on it was Kayny West’s recently launched website.
Controversial statements and racist slogans. Kayne West has lost access to social media
Kayne West is a famous American music producer and fashion designer. In recent years, however, his controversial statements, including those about Jewish society, are more often talked about than his artistic achievements. Due to the fact that he was banned on many social networking sites for expressing his usually harmful opinions, he decided to set up his own news website, which had its official premiere not so long ago. One of the first posts he published concerned an anti-Semitic action involving a Polish politician.
Kayne West wrote about Grzegorz Braun. The musician launched his own news website
The website is not strictly thematically focused. There are entries about fashion, pop culture and technological innovations, as well as sports and politics. In this last category, the text regarding the shameful act of Grzegorz Braun caused particular confusion.
A member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, who extinguished a lit menorah in the parliament building, became the subject of viral comments. Speaking to other MPs, Grzegorz Braun said he was “restoring normality and balance, putting an end to acts of satanic, Talmudic and racist triumphalism.” He emphasized that ‘there can be no place for acts of racist, tribal, wild, Talmudic cults’
– on his website (which is currently only available for mobile devices), limiting himself to a not very factual description of this event, because Brun extinguished not the menorah, but the hanukkiah. Next, reference was made to the statements of the Speaker of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, and the Prime Minister, who unanimously announced that there is no consent in Poland to “attacking followers of other religions” and announced that they would draw severe consequences for this act.
