Justyna Koska-Janusz appeared from the first episode and played in the series until 2010. She acted as a lawyer who defended minors accused by prosecutor Paweł Sobczak. In her private life, Koska-Janusz is also associated with the law, and recently she became famous due to her conflict with Zbigniew Ziobro.

“Family Court” was a series of para-documentaries, and each episode featured cases related to divorce, alimony, regulating contact with children, and juvenile matters. The program featured real lawyers, and one of them was Justyna Koska-Janusz, who today works as a judge in a Warsaw court. However, it is worth mentioning that until 2010, when she appeared in the series, she was a lawyer.

She brought a case against Zbigniew Ziobro. The Minister of Justice had to apologize

Justyna Koska-Janusz became famous again due to the conflict with Zbigniew Ziobro. In 2016, the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, Zbigniew Ziobro, did not extend Justyna Koska-Janusz’s delegation in the District Court, claiming that the judge was incompetent and could not cope.

It was about an incident in December 2013 caused by Izabella Ch., who, under the influence of alcohol, drove a luxury Mercedes into an underpass in the very center of Warsaw. The media blamed Justyna Koska-Janusz, the person conducting the proceedings, for leniency towards the accused and incompetence in handling the case

– on the ministry’s website. The judge brought a civil suit against the minister for infringement of personal rights. The Minister of Justice lost the case and was obliged to remove the entry from the ministry’s website and to apologize to the injured party. At a closed session in April 2023, the Supreme Court dismissed the cassation application filed by Zbigniew Ziobro in 2020.
